Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1+ years of experience in a medical office or customer service role.
- Proficiency in electronic medical records and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance processes.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining patient confidentiality.
Therapy Aide
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 0-2 years of experience in a healthcare or customer service role.
- Basic knowledge of physical therapy equipment and patient care.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and assist patients with exercises/mobility.
- CPR certification a plus
- Ability to speak a second language is plus
Therapists
Physical Therapist Role Description
Part-time or full-time on-site role for a Physical Therapist. An experienced therapist is preferred but the right new grad can be mentored by our current PT who has 20+ years of experience. The applicant must be self motivated and dedicated to providing excellent treatment daily to our patients. Day-to-day tasks include conducting patient evaluations and progress notes using WebPT, implementing therapy interventions, keeping detailed patient records, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge and experience in out-patient Physical Therapy
- Proficiency in post-op protocols and treatment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- NY State licensure as a Physical Therapist
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy or related field
- CPR and First Aid certification is a plus
Occupational Therapist Role Description
Part-time or full-time on-site role for an Occupational/Hand Therapist. An experienced therapist is preferred but the right new grad can be mentored by our OT’s who have 20+ years of experience. The applicant must be self motivated and dedicated to providing excellent treatment daily to our patients. Day-to-day tasks include conducting patient evaluations and progress notes using WebPT, implementing therapy interventions, splinting at Helping Hands or at our satellite location at a Hand Surgeons Orthopedic Practice, keeping detailed patient records, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.

- NY State licensure as an Occupational Therapist
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or Certified Hand Therapist
- CPR and First Aid certification is a plus
